There are 18 student chapters in the Asia Pacific region and all local universities are anticipated to participate in this conference.

Thus, we set the theme for this conference as “Empowering Future Young Professionals”.

SPESCC event is not only about getting people to participate in. It also opens the
opportunity for the committee, mainly students to move forward into higher level event which could helps them to develop their soft skills and build a network with others. This SPESCC will serve as the platform for the future young professionals to succeed in today’s petroleum industry too.

OBJECTIVES
1. To provide the opportunity for the graduating student to engage in discussions
about the future directions for young professionals in the oil and gas industry
2. To nurture the connection and transfer of knowledge between seasoned industry experts and future young professionals.
3. To cultivate and foster the interest and awareness of Oil and Gas Industry
regarding petroleum exploration, subsurface information, drilling and facilities
technology among the students
4. To expose graduating students to the basic technical disciplines in a team setting, with a strong focus on participation and problem solving.
